Collections

Collections of clean domestic furniture, white goods and household items are arranged by telephone and there is no charge for this service.

Soft furnishings must comply with current Trading Standards requirements and be clean and free from stains. Upholstered furniture must have a label stating that the materials comply with the 1988 fire safety regulations. Mattresses and upholstered bed bases should have a blue label stating compliance with the 1996 regulation.

Electrical items should be in working order. Fridges and fridge freezers should be less than five years old.

Working in partnership with ‘Moses Basket’ we also collect nearly new baby equipment and clothing for children under 7 years.
