Opportunities for Volunteers and Placements
|
|
We are looking for volunteers to help us with a range of skills from business planning to administration,
from practical skills to warehouse help.
|
|
We also aim to work with young people and long term unemployed through the provision of work experience and training.
This would help to build up their self confidence and self esteem as well as gaining Open College or NVQ qualification
units that would contribute to enhanced employment opportunities.
|
|
Through training and practical experience we will be able to provide volunteers a range of opportunities
to make a recognisable and measurable contribution to the local community.

Client Participation/Contribution and On-going Development
|
Our volunteer team includes previous beneficiaries of the scheme.
Their experience and contribution is invaluable in shaping the scheme to match and meet the needs of its users.
|
Through Steering Group and volunteer meetings, Stakeholder Reviews, canvassing of user opinion, attendance
at local and national conferences, and formal and informal discussions, we are constantly evaluating best
practice and reviewing the level of service we are delivering to clients.
