How You Can Support Us
There are various ways in which you can support Lighthouse Furniture Project.

From donations and volunteering to fundraising and corporate sponsorship.
Donate
Donations are our lifeblood and without your generosity we would not be able to offer the service that we do.
We can collect furniture, white goods and household items FREE of charge. But you are always welcome to bring donations to our shop within opening hours.
We accept most furniture items, provided they are in reusable condition, do not have too much wear and comply with fire safety and Trading Standards regulations.
We accept clean bedding and covers as well as kitchen utensils and crockery as these items get passed on to families in need of support.
Your donations are a great way to help the local community and are always hugely appreciated.

What is Gift Aid?
Gift Aid is a government scheme that lets us reclaim a basic rate of tax that you pay.
Lighthouse Furniture Project are registered for Gift Aid, so if you’re a UK tax payer, let us know so we can claim it on your donation. It allows us to claim 25p for every £1, so it really can make a difference.

Volunteer
Lighthouse Furniture Project could not do what it does without the amazing help from its volunteers and supporters.
We provide volunteering opportunities for everyone over the age of 18, whether working, retired, or between jobs.
Retail sales• Warehousing & logistics• Customer telephone enquiries• Administration• Promotions and marketing• Van driving & van assistance• Furniture or appliance repairs• P.A.T. testing​

Fundraise
Fundraising allows us to continue applying additional discounts to items to support those in poverty, on low incomes or in housing crisis.​​
