What we can’t take
Sadly, there are some items that we just can't take. Often these are large items such as super-king beds or large sofas, as they just won't fit into our customers' homes. Other items we can’t take are those that are simply out-of-date or out of fashion, such as TV units, CDs/videos and their players and storage. Baby equipment and toys are not part of our charitable regulations.
If you have any doubt about items you wish to donate, please email us on admin@lighthousefurniture.org or phone on 01277 222050.
What happens if we can't reuse donated items
Some items simply can’t be reused or resold. When that happens, we ensure they’re recycled responsibly through accredited UK recycling partners.
